the dove sleeps fast that this night-owl will catch

Hello pals, it's been a really long time since my last post. I just got distracted by the paranoia of getting into college. Things will be totally different from how they were in high school. No more old high school routines that I really long to. And there I was, stranded on the couch, watching tv while worrying about my new life in college. Because, however, I didn't find myself cheered up by sketching. Sigh.

Here I post more drawings from my sketchbook. As it seems, I've been crazy about owls. I love those big round eyes. They look mysterious but innocent at the same time.
....a long eared owl
....where can I catch these owls? I'd really love to pet 'em

Enjoy my drawings :)

a toss-up

an afterpiece on the first page of my morning glory sketchbook
I only used a graphite pencil and a charcoal for the shades
but I'm not a fan of charcoal at all
cause I haven't picked up the technique to use it
that's why the background looks quite a mess

enjoy my drawing :)

picture paints a thousand words

I kinda inspired from Christina Perri's "Jar of Hearts" song. When I first listened to it, it gave me a flash that reminded me of a friend of mine who WAS a total jerk.

Hell no, I don't wanna waste my time typing thousands of words telling you the whole story about him. So I just drew a jar and quoted the chorus from the song.

Picture paints a thousand words. Right, eh?

enjoy my drawing :)

*dedicated to my friend; no matter how jerk you are, you're still my friend :)

bummer in the summer

After having a long haul for months preparing myself for what-I-call the university placement test , I'm finally off the hook. I passed those days of battle and I got holiday for a month, yay! Then, my parents ruined my happiness that I've just got. They'd promised to take me somewhere, but, shoot, they canceled it. I had been bubbling about how exciting my trip would be. I even had drawn this picture, it's how I'd wished my luggage would look--only an imagination, though. Well, I shouldn't cry over spilt milk.

First picture posted :D Not a perfect piece, though. When I drew this picture I had just learnt how to make better-looking shades and I must confess, it took me a really loooong time to draw this.
Hope I’ll draw better on my next afterpiece *fingers crossed*
Enjoy my drawing  :)
